Global Purpose Movement Presents: Embody Your Purpose with Andrea Dennis & Carly Visk

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Each one of you has chosen to be here on Earth at this critical moment in the history of humanity. And for a good reason: you have a purpose -- a unique gift to contribute to the world. The path of embodying your purpose is not an easy one. It confronts the limitations of mind and social conditioning. It is an ongoing, exhilarating journey, and if you feel a calling to embody your purpose more fully, we invite you to come explore this edge with us. In this workshop, you will connect to the energy of purpose through meditation, interactive exercises, and movement. You will learn to experience your unique purpose as a dynamic state of being that can serve as a somatic guide to living the fullest expression of who you are.

Bio:

Carly Visk is a creator of sacred space for the Global Purpose Movement. She teaches yoga and meditation and has a passion for the mystery of consciousness and transformation. She enjoys co-creating space that not only fosters inner transformation but also supports the sharing of creative ideas for bringing more balance and peace into our relationships. She loves to sing and study with plant medicines and ceremonial leaders from Brazil, Colombia, North America and Europe who inspire her to work towards manifesting the vision of an Earth that can be protected and shared by all living things.
Andrea Dennis is a charismatic organizer, fundraiser, and facilitator in the fields of cultural exchange, fair trade, service learning and sacred connection. Through organizing, facilitating, interviewing, and hosting, Andrea supports deep personal and group connection. Her approach is influenced by a wide-ranging background in multiple fields including: meditation, yoga, permaculture, and community organizing. She received teacher trainings in Primordial Sound Meditation from the Chopra Center; a 200hr yoga teacher-training course from Yoga Now Chicago; a certification for Fundraising from the Heart by Lynne Twist; a permaculture Design Certificate at the Earth Activist Training by Starhawk and Charles Williams; and became a Life-Cycle Celebrant through the Celebrant Institute and Foundation. Andrea is a published author in the anthology Purpose Rising. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Social Enterprise Alliance and currently serves with Chicago Fair Trade. She volunteers with Chicago elderly and youth, and is lovingly committed to bringing forth a flourishing existence for all beings. She rides her bike around the city and enjoys lounging.
