Katrina Benally is one of the top female music artists coming from the Southwest! She is a Diné hiphop and rap artist and she is also independent, indigenous and limitless. She is one half of the dynamic hiphop duo, KBENALLY/LETSJUSB. She is apart of many hiphop collectives starting with Native Artists In Action, Hiiigheye Worldwiiide, and Outstanding Citizens. She is also a fifth of the incredi-improv band called, Pray for Brain. Along with that she’s been able to sponsor studio time for indigenous youth, host a monthly showcase for beat makers, and also coordinates shows that are female based and relative to the hiphop culture and its roots.
